Power Data Development was formed in June, 1997 by David Kaufman to offer database
programming for commercial websites, utilizing only open-source software such
as Perl and MySQL.
After seeing that many clients were lacking a suitable, stable and affordable
development and hosting platform for their sites, Power Data began to offer web
hosting service in addition to CGI and SQL programming services, again employing
an all-open-source platform: Apache on FreeBSD.
Together with our partners, Power Data now offers clients a full spectrum of internet
services ranging from scripting coupled with web and database hosting,
to custom server setup, site planning, expert administration,
professional graphics, animation, branding and user-interface design,
and, most recently,
smart email filtering, processing and list hosting.
